TASTING THE SKY
Savouring, sampling, touching, smelling. All five senses involved in one experience to let yourself go to culinary inventions that define a varied and eclectic region. Sour as the lemon, savory as the caper, velvety as the oil, fruity as the grape and as pleasing as the lavarello fish. And all this mixed together gets to a combinaton of tastes and recipes to bring home. The Garda lake culinary discovery is like a journey between the ancient traditions of a community that continues showing huge respect for the products of the land and the labour required to preserve them. Learning how to distinguish methods and products, it is learning to perform magic with emotion.
Milo is a chef, loves life and its flavours; he is always in search for the taste of rustic pleasures, while travelling, anything that a place can offer, its aromas, its colours, its smells. In love with Italian pizza, he desired to treat himself to an original course, in which recognizing creative tecniques and ingredients’ combinations of the “gourmet” pizza. And he dearly wanted to find out how it was best accompanied with a special velvety and full-bodied wine. Milo, still absorbed in this journey, every day with his hands covered with flour, goes on creating combinations and ingredient blends, smelling the fragrant humidiy of the Garda’s cellars.
